Following the successful release of his highly anticipated album, Timeless. Which has been receiving massive streams and comments from all around the world. Davido the American born Nigerian superstar has revealed in an exciting interview with Beats FM, Lagos on the 31st of March, 2023.
According to him, the video is set to be the most expensive in the history of the Nigerian music industry and even Africa at large.
The Nigerian superstar musician. Davido, confidently and comfortably revealed that he paid a whooping sum of 100 Million Naira to Africa’s most sort after music video director, TG Omori to shoot the video of one of the songs off his new buzzing album ‘Timeless’.
Davido revealed all this in a recent interview with Beats FM, Lagos. According to him, the video is already the most expensive music video in the history of the Nigerian music industry.
Davido was quoted saying:
“I’m excited about the record. We shot the video with TG. And I’m proud to say that’s the first N100m video in Nigeria.
“The video was like a six days shoot. And I came for three days. He shot the remaining three days. The video is in a storyline form. Shoutout to him, he’s an amazing director” he added.

Recall that TG Omori came under fire a few days ago after coming online to brag about him been the biggest music director in the country. TG Omori Boy Director as he is fondly called, claimed he is friends with most Nigerian music video directors and admitted that they are highly gifted but maintained that none of them is better than him. He came under fire because a lot of people didn’t like or believe all what he claims are true.
